Bilbo B asked: I personally think this could be the best shot MS has to fight google… I actually like it. I have been using it since it was launched and so far, no difference with Google, and for a few things, it is faster and gives more information than google, BUT, Google is better when it comes to blog and forums search.
Google is far ahead in the competition, but Bing has certainly captured Google’s attention… Bing is not a Google killer, it is a good start.

bing isnt really as advanced as google to me but the video section is pretty good
I find I can do a lot more with Google from the different types of queries you can do with it (ie. filetype:, site:). But I haven’t used Bing that much, so I’m not familiar with the extent of its features.
I think its good and it provide quite strict results so it will provide good a competition to google in future.

i like bing iv been using it for a while. idk if i can use it full time. i like how they finally got a google calculator equivilant. and video is very good. but occasionally i find myself needing to go bak to google for searches. most of the time i was more than satisfied with the searches. especially the little pop up bubble of info next to the searches.
